Rethika Srinivas stunned audiences in Vazhakku Enn 18/9

Rethika Srinivas, who has acted in Vazhakku Enn 18/9 as the school correspondent and very close associate of a state minister. But at the very first attempt itself she stunned audiences by her extraordinary performance.

Rethika Srinivas is belonging to a Tamil family which is residing in Mumbai for more than 150 years. As a teenage girl she relocated to Chennai and finished her graduation in electronic engineering from SRM Univ followed by a post graduation in media studies form UK based University.

She started her own media company in the name of Ice Breakers. IB has produced many ad films and conducted mega events in Dubai with Kollywood and Bollywood stars. Rethika Srinivasan herself acted in more than 40 ad films including the brands like BSA SLR, Preethi and Chennai Diamonds. Few of the Participants of such star nights form Tamil film industry gave the idea of acting in Tamil films. She came to Chennai after settling in Dubai with a nice house for hunting opportunities in Tamil Films.

Rethika Srinivas participated in the audition and got the golden opportunity in Vazhakku Enn 18/9. “Director Balaji Sakthivel put full faith on me and gave complete freedom to perform” said Rethika Srinivas.

As everybody knows she is being approached by many of the film makers after watching her on Vazhakku Enn 18/9. But she is not hurry in signing assignments as she is waiting for some challenging characters.

When we asked about the feedbacks form her family and fans after the deadly negative character in VE 18/9, Rethika Srinivas said, “ First of all, all in our family praised me a lot… my husband who knows nothing about Tamil Cinema is now watching Vazhakku Enn 18/9 again and again with his friends and started knowing many thing about Tamil Cinema and its technicians as well.

As for as audiences and fans concern they are very matured nowadays and could easily differentiate the characters and the cast in it…After identifying myself they came forward and congratulated me a lot …Really I was very happy at that time.

"I think I passed in my house and in industry as well" says Rethika.

Sneha makes money by selling wedding telecast rights

Whatever celebrity does makes news as the audiences are quite interested to know what is happening in their lives. Now, the smart actress Sneha who is entering into wedlock with her co-star cum boyfriend Prasanna has sold out the rights of wedding telecast to a popular kollywood channel Vijaya TV for a fancy price setting a new trend.

Sneha and Prasanna’s wedding will take place on May 11 while it will be telecasted on 20th May. The couple enjoyed a grand Sangeeth ceremony at Green Park hotel, Chennai in the presence of few stars, friends, and family.

The wedding will also witness top celebrities from various film industries including Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Tamil Nadu chief minister Jailalitha et al.
