Venkat Prabhu, Gautham Menon teams up

Ace director Venkat Prabhu who has hits like Mankatha, Saroja to his credit, is set to turn producer and he has launched his production house named Black Ticket Company.

the news of his production house, added that he would be teaming up with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Ondraga Entertainment for a new Tamil production venture.

“Gautham Menon and I have been in talks on the production venture collaboration for some time, and the concept of two directors joining to produce films is popular in Bollywood and Hollywood and we are now bringing it to Kollywood. I will direct the first joint production venture. We will announce the other details soon along with a photoshoot.”

Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam is a realistic film: Director

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam is gearing up for a release soon, and the teaser trailer has got quite a good response.

While the other star actors are looking
to appeal the masses with the strong one-liners, Kamal Haasan is one actor who strives for realistic characterizations, dialogues and action sequences. Kamal’s dialogue teaser ‘Naa Sonna Seivan…’ (If I say something, I will do it) has got instant positive response, despite an ordinary dialogue.

Director Rajesh.M.Selva says that Thoongavanam is a realistic film, and there are no punchlines only to please fans, but the fight sequences are shot logically without violating the laws of gravity. The screenplay would be realistic and dialogues will go with the flow of the movie. Kamal fans will like the film after watching it, says the director.

Simbu Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada release in Jan

Silambarasan's 'Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada', taking shape in the direction of Gautham Menon is slated for a release in January.

the shoot update said that Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada will be wrapped up in 10 days, and the team is planning to release the movie in January. The film is being canned simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu versions, where the latter version casts Naga Chaitanya as the male lead in place of Simbu for Tamil. Manjhima Mohan is the leading lady in bilingual versions.

Gautham Menon is also the producer of this romantic drama Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada while A.R.Rahman is the music director.

Ajith's offers prayers in Tirupati for Vedhalam

Thala Ajith's Vedhalam is all set for a massive worldwide release on November 10. Vedhalam will be released in 85 plus screens in United States of America, while it is also the first Tamil film to release in Poland. The film will hit the screens in Japan on November 15.

Meanwhile, there is a buzz that the intro shot of Thala Ajith from Vedhalam movie has been leaked and the content is being spread in Whatsapp. The leakage would have been done by someone within the team, as the prints are not yet dispatched. Filmmakers definitely need to be careful indeed, as there are high chances of scenes or clippings getting leaked on the internet due to few miscreants in their own team.

Suriya’s Singam 3 shoot begins on December 2

Suriya is set to join the shooting sets of Singam 3 from December 2 in Tuticorin. Like the earlier two versions, this third part of Singam will also be directed by Hari.

Suriya has informed the news
at an event in Coimbatore, “Director Hari has readied Singam 3 script and the shoot will begin from December 2nd. We have wrapped up the work of 24 film and the release date will be announced soon.”

Singam 3 starring Suriya, Anushka and Shruti Haasan as leads, will be shot in Tuticorin and other foreign locales. Anirudh Ravichander is roped in to provide the soundtrack for the mass entertainer.
Besides 24 and Singam 3, Suriya will be seen in an extended cameo role in the film Pasanga 2 starring Karthik Kumar and Bindhu Madhavi as leads, which is directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya. Suriya’s production film 36 Vayadhinile starring Jyothika as lead will also hit the big-screens soon.
