Dhanush’s Maari 2 confirmed

Dhanush’s commercial hit Maari will have a sequel soon, as director Balaji Mohan has already begun working on the script for the sequel.

“I have begun working on script of
sequel version to Maari, and have completed around 10 % of it. Dhanush has been confirmed for the sequel as lead. The film will begin in second half of 2016, and I might work on another film in the meantime,” said Balaji Mohan.

Balaji Mohan also revealed that Maari 2 will be a part of the film’s title or it may be title itself. Few of the characterizations in the first part could be retained in the sequel version as well.

It would be interesting to see how Maari 2 takes off, as the first part ended with Dhanush turning down Kajal Aggarwal’s proposal to stay single.

Big B to share screen with Rajinikanth in Enthiran 2!

Superstar Rajinikanth and mega director Shankar’s Enthiran 2 pre-production works have begun, and the film is getting bigger each passing day. While Shankar has all planned to bring Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger on board for negative lead role, we hear that the Mega director has also approached Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan for a crucial role in this sci-fi film.

As per the reports, Shankar has
approached Big B and narrated his role, and the latter has even given his nod for the film. So, if everything goes well we get to see the two legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth sharing the screen space. They were last seen together for the Hindi film 'Geraftaar', released in 1985.

It is worth mentioning that Amitabh's daughter-in-law and actress Aishwarya Rai was the heroine in the prequel version titled Enthiran, which was a blockbuster at the box-office. Amy Jackson is roped in as the lead heroine in Enthiran 2. Shankar is likely to make announcement on the film on December 12 on Rajinikanth’s 65th birthday.

Dhanush, Prabhu Solomon film nearing completion

Dhanush’s untitled film in the direction of Prabhu Solomon is nearing its completion. The film’s story deals with the lead characterizations train journey from New Delhi to Tamil Nadu, and major portions of the film was shot in the train.

Dhanush is romancing the pretty
actress Keerthy Suresh in the film, while Veteran actor Radharavi plays the role of an MLA, and Anandhi of Kayal fame will be seen in a crucial role. Dhanush plays Railway catering staff role while Harish Utthaman is the negative lead in the movie.

The entire shooting schedules will be wrapped up in ten days and the post-production works will follow. The title and first look of this Sathyajothi Films Production movie are to be released soon. D.Imman is the music director.

Besides Prabhu Solomon film, Dhanush is also busy with Thangamagan and two more films to be directed by Durai Senthikumar and Vetri Maaran, while he has also signed up for Maari 2.

Rajinikanth Look in Kabali is terrific

Superstar Rajinikanth is referred as style icon of Indian Cinema, and his histrionics and style are admired by millions of audiences. Rajinikanth seem to be redefining his style at the age of 64, in his forthcoming film Kabali, as his look in the posters are getting terrific response.

Kabali first photoshoot has
been released long back, and the makers have recently released location pictures of Rajinikanth from the film, which has gone viral in the web media delighting all the Thalaiva fans. With the white beard, classy goggles and blazers, Rajinikanth is sure rocking the stills and raising the curiosity on Kabali.

The shooting schedules of Kabali are progressing at a brisk pace in Malaysia, and the unit will soon head to Hong Kong and Thailand for further schedules of shoot.

Kabali, directed by Young filmmaker PA Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu stars Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Dinesh and Kalaiarasan as other leads. Santhosh Naraynan is the music composer.

AR Murugadoss to direct Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu

Ace Kollywood filmmaker AR Murugadoss, who is currently busy with the woman-centric film Akira with Sonakshi Sinha as lead has finalized his next two films, if the buzz is to be believed. Murugadoss has already wrapped entire shoot except for one song.

AR Murugadoss has already
finalized a film with Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie with Super Star Mahesh Babu as lead. The shooting schedules will commence in 2016, and the movie is also likely to hit the screens in the same year.

Now, the latest we hear is Murugadoss is likely to direct Salman Khan for a new film. Sources revealed that “Murugadoss has narrated a script to Salman Khan and the latter liked it. The duo working on the dates and the film will be finalized.”

Though there have been reports earlier that Murugadoss may direct Vijay in 2016, looks like we need to wait for few more months for it to happen.
