Story

The story takes of with two periods 1999 and 2010 placing to different regions.First is David (Jeeva) has amazing talent of playing a guitar and wanted to become big guitarist.Been come from a poor Christian family economic hurdles plays spilsport with his dreams.In meantime his father (Nasser) who is a strick on his religious nature faces troubles from local politician.Rest is how David makes his next step...

The Second comes David (Vikram) who is free-man leading a fisherman life in Goa and has a good friend Frenny (Tabu) shares with her.David falls in for Roma (Isha Sharvani) who is in dating with David's friend Peter.The rest makes the story whether David wins his lady love...

Performances

Vikram surprises with his performances as carefree fishermen.His expressions with his dialouge characters is amazing and spectacular as drunkenness and his body language thrills everyone.

Jeeva is hadnsome and carries look of a musician aptly.He plays a pleasing role as a guitarist.

Isha Shervani is sensious and good at her performance.Tabu as a close friend is ok and Lara Dutta played her best in special role.Rest of the cast played their roles at their best.

Technical Analysis

Rathnavelu, P.S Vinod to be applauded for their spectacular piece of work from their camera.Background score is good along with the right placement of songs.Editing is crisp and action scenes are cheoreographed well.Bejoy Nambiar's way of narration is best of his works.

Analysis

The first half comes on with narration of two stories of different regions having same name David.Here to say even these characters do not link up each other nor face in the entire plot.Bejoy Nambiar succeded in bringing out sombre colours of life where characters like Vikram and Jeeva faced dark shades of the film.

Second half is all about how the characters makes lifes interesting as they wished.Script and narration of the film to be praised for making a new genre of movie.Eventually the film runs in to flashback and present run comes in with no time.
